Any existing Vi postpaid subscribers that you add to your plan will be required to give a consent via SMS within 7 days to be added to your plan. For such subscribers, we do not require any additional documentation.

Yes, you can choose your plan and add any number to your Family plan by visiting https://www.myvi.in/new-connection/buy-postpaid-sim-connection-online. For non-Vi and Vi-prepaid numbers, we offer easy contactless delivery of Vi postpaid SIMs. Once activated on Vi Postpaid, all such numbers will be seamlessly added to your Vi Family plan.
For adding existing Vi postpaid numbers, we will need only SMS consent from the member, even if they are under different names & registered addresses in the same state.
However, if your family member is in a different state, you would have to port-in that number through Inter State MNP process to your circle. To do so, you can chose a Family plan and place an MNP request for that number from our website www.myvi.in or visit a Vi store near you.
In case of existing Vi postpaid users, we will take up to 4 hours to add your members to your plan, post receipt of their SMS consent. Any members being activated newly on Vi postpaid will get added instantaneously to your Family plan upon activation. Both you and your secondary members will be informed via SMS.
Once you have formed your Vi Family plan, adding or removing members is super simple. Just call 199 or visit a store to add or remove a member.
A detailed member-wise break-up of charges will be available in your bill. You will also be able to view the Vi Family rental discount benefits applicable in each member’s detailed bill.
No. As Primary member, you will receive a single bill in your name for all numbers once they are added to or activated within your Family plan.
If the member was already existing on Vi postpaid, they would have received a pro-rata individual bill for their number for the time already elapsed in that bill cycle. We advise that all such previous outstanding be cleared by you or your members prior to their addition to your Family plan.
Their bill for all usage after joining the group will be merged with yours, the due date for which will continue to be as per your original bill cycle. However, there may be a separate pro-rated bill due for the member added by you for the period prior to their joining your Family plan. They will need to clear this outstanding amount using their relationship ID or account number.
No, only you can buy data or SMS packs for members/ devices in your group. Your members can only activate some services like International Roaming and VAS on their plans.
No, your secondary members cannot request for plan change. Only you can do so for all members/ devices in your account.
